Overview

SnapPick is designed as a local-first browser extension. Its core screenshot capture and editing workflow runs on your device, inside the browser.

What the extension accesses

When you click SnapPick on a page, the extension needs temporary access to the current tab so it can read layout information and capture visible pixels for the screenshot you requested.

What stays local

We do not require an account. We do not maintain a user dashboard. We do not upload your screenshots to our own servers as part of the default product workflow.

Local preferences

SnapPick stores a small set of local preferences in your browser, such as editor background template choices and whether the editor background is enabled, so the editing UI can remember your last-used settings.

Website visits and support requests

If you open links from the extension or website, your browser contacts those pages in the normal way. If you email support or request activation help, the information you send in that message is used only to respond to your request.
